Welcome to The Shipyard! We are 1 of the 15 student run enterprises that operate through Berry College. Our goal as an enterprise is to give Berry students the opportunity to grow in their learning with hands on work that will help them build skills for their futures. Our student workers handle inventory, customer service, marketing strategies, and more! We want to encourage students to find a passion for something they love and give it their all to push for what they want. Leadership Team

Mea Acton - General Manager



I am from Helena, AL. I am a senior marketing major with a creative technologies minor. I have worked at the Shipyard since it opened in summer of 2020. In the future I hope to open my own marketing business where I can help businesses build their brand and marketing

Ana Garibay - General Manager

I am a commuter from Cartersville, GA. I have been working at The Shipyard since October 2021. I am majoring in Business Management and minoring in French. Fun fact: my favorite artist is Bad Bunny.

Abby Dini - General Manager in Training

I’m from Habersham County, Georgia. I plan to major in environmental science with a minor in business. I’ve been working at the Shipyard since August 2022. A fun fact about me is that I’m a really picky eater.

Caleb Land - Marketing Supervisor

I am from Athens, GA. I’m a communications major with a concentration in public relations. I’ve worked at the Shipyard since January 2022, and I’m left handed.

Davis Cooke - Accounting Supervisor

I am from Atlanta, GA. I have been with the Shipyard since January of 2023, and I’m a finance major. I am on the Berry Lacrosse team and I’ve never broken a bone.

Sophie Lefebvre - Social Media Marketing Coordinator

I’m originally from Connecticut but live in Marietta GA. I’m a management major with an entrepreneurial minor, and I’ve been working at The Shipyard since Spring 2023. I’ve competed live on ESPN.

Lauren Carnes - Crew Member

I'm a freshman communications major with a concentration in digital storytelling. I am from Carrollton, GA. I have been working at the Shipyard since spring 2023. Fun fact: my favorite color is blue.

Eris Murchison - Crew Member 

I’m from Lawrenceville Georgia. I am a Biology major with a Chemistry minor. I’ve been working at the shipyard since 2021. A fun fact about me is that my favorite ice cream flavor is Pistachio.

 Grace Turner - Crew Member 

I’m from Hiram Georgia. I’m a junior nursing major . I’ve been working at the shipyard since fall of 2021.

McKenna Gaukel - Crew Member

I’m from Kennesaw, GA, I’m a communications major with a business minor, I’ve been working at the shipyard since the spring of 2022, and a fun fact about me is that I love cats.

 Morgan Parish - Crew Member

I am from Dallas, GA. I’ve been working at The Shipyard since January 2022. A fun fact is that my favorite color is pink.

Grayson Thomason - Crew Member

I am from Cumming, Georgia and I am an Exercise Science major with a minor in Spanish! This is my first year at the Shipyard. I am also abnormally good at pickleball.

Maggie Camerieri - Crew Member

I am from Alpharetta, GA! My major is Sociology with a minor in Family Studies and I have worked at the Shipyard for about 6 months. A fun fact is I am graduating in May and working for Disney!
