Collection: Sunshine Room Textiles

Sunshine Room Textiles exists to reclaim the Appalachian art of weaving, while recognizing Martha Berry's dream to provide meaningful work for students. Devoted Berry alumni, staff, and faculty members helped establish Sunshine Room Textiles in 2011. Members of the Sunshine Room, a local group of volunteer weavers who have graduated from Berry College, support the student team with their knowledge, talent, time, and guidance.

Sunshine Room's items often vary by color due to the abundance of donated materials they receive from Alumni and local businesses. This makes the items slightly more challenging to share online; however, we are working to figure out a solution. In the meantime, you can reach out to Sunshine Room via email at SunshineRoomTextiles@berry.edu regarding special orders, and you can also come into the Shipyard to purchase an array of their items as well.
