Returns/Refunds and Shipping Policy

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not pleased with your purchase, please let us know.

We have a 30-day return policy for items in their original condition -- excluding any personalized items or custom orders -- and we strive to make the return process as easy as possible.

 Return and Refund Policy

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, please return the item(s) within 30 days.
  • Provide your name, email, phone, and the reason for return in the text boxes below.
  • If you are returning a gift, you must provide the order number or packing slip. You must also include the name, email, and phone of the individual who purchased the gift.
  • If you have a defective product, please contact our retail manager first for instructions at TheShipyard@berry.edu or (706) 238-7655.
  • Returns should be sent to The Shipyard at 2277 Martha Berry HWY NW, Rome, GA 30161 using the shipping service of your choice. We do not provide a return shipping label except in instances of defective products. 
  • Within 10 days of receipt of your return, our staff will issue the refund or store credit for all eligible items.

  • We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return the current item and place a new order for the item of interest on our website.
  • Printed literature is not eligible to return unless damaged.

Shipping Policy

All products, apart from those that are in-store pickup only, are shipped directly from our campus store located on Berry’s campus.

Our website calculates shipping costs based on the type of merchandise, weight, and distance to the package’s destination.

The Shipyard uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) and Federal Express (FedEx) for all of its shipments, and all available items will ship within one to two business days (with the exception of college holidays where campus is closed.)

A tracking number will be assigned and provided for you when your package has been sent. Please allow more time for shipping to Alaska or Hawaii, or during any weather- or health-related delays. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship outside of the United States at this time.
