Berry’s student enterprises give students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings. From production to marketing and operations, students gain hands-on experience that prepares them for life beyond campus.

Every enterprise is student-led and student-run. Learners take ownership of their work, collaborate across disciplines, and develop practical skills through meaningful responsibility.

Our Mission

At Berry College, we believe learning happens best when students are challenged to think deeply, care genuinely, and do meaningful work. Through the Head, Heart, and Hands approach, we empower student entrepreneurs to grow both personally and professionally. Students learn to think critically about business decisions, lead with purpose and integrity, and gain real world experience by building and running ventures that matter to them. With mentorship and strong community support, this work encourages creativity, responsibility, and sustainable practices, preparing students to step confidently into leadership roles long after graduation.

  • The Retail Enterprises

    The Retail Enterprises include 3 enterprises that offer accommodations for a uniquely Berry environment, blending a distinctly historic feel with modern-day comfort. They serve as a creative retail outlet for special Berry products, such as Berry College merchandise, custom-made furniture, and hand-woven materials. The Retail Enterprises include The Shipyard, Viking Furniture, and Sunshine Room Textiles

    The Berry Farms enterprises are comprised of five enterprises that effectively and efficiently use Berry College’s land and natural resources to provide a wide range of products. These include great-tasting beef, high-quality artisan cheeses, honey and beeswax products, and plants and fresh produce.
