About Our Enterprise

Providing fresh, locally grown produce and plants to the Berry College and greater Rome communities, we at Season’s Harvest take pride in caring for our produce and potted plants from seed to market. With intentional consideration of seasonality and freshness, our product offerings vary by season. We oversee all growing processes, harvesting produce that is perfect for vibrant and nutritious meals.

Find products like succulents, cacti, pothos plants, and a variety of produce in The Shipyard, Berry’s campus retail store located in the Krannert building. Additionally, our products can be purchased at the Westcott building and local markets such as Georgia's Rome, Ridge Ferry, and the Cartersville Farmers market.

Meet The Leadership Team

General Manager

Brady Gray

My name is Brady Gray, and I have been the General Manager of the Season’s Harvest Berry Farms Enterprise since my freshman year. I am a junior pursuing a degree in Psychology with minors in Applied Behavior Analysis and Biology. After graduation, I plan to attend graduate school to study social work and mental health. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned in this role is the importance of building an inclusive and supportive environment where all employees feel comfortable and valued. Our ability to pursue both enterprise goals and personal growth is driven by peer support and a workplace culture that encourages open expression.

FAQs

Where are the gardens located?

The gardens are located on the Wescott grounds.

What products are in season?

Spring/Summer: peppers, tomatoes, okra, yellow squash, and cucumbers

Fall: collards, turnips, broccoli, kale, and radishes

Are any chemicals used on the produce?

We are happy to say that no harsh chemicals are used on our products. However, we do use the following:

A pesticide on pumpkins/squash that is applied before the plants bear fruit. Pumpkins are not sold for consumption so they are sprayed a little more often.

A organic weed killer called AXXE
